My Zimbio Car Speaker Modification: ALPINE Takes Car Audio A Step Further

ALPINE Takes Car Audio A Step Further

Alpine IDA-X100 Car Audio

Some people like me love great music while driving. But the trouble of changing CDs while changing lanes is at times pretty tricky. Not to mention our favorite drives with the CD bag in tow. So here comes the Alpine designed iDA-X100 digital media receiver sans a CD player. Yes, the latest car audio system, which can be used with an iPod or with any other portable audio sources.
It plays MP3, WMA, and AAC music files from any external sources. Just connect it to the Alpine iDA-X100 digital media receiver’s USB port and voila you get an endless stream of music. Using the centrally placed jog dial that operates like the iPod’s click wheel and the full color 2.2 inch display makes it very easy to locate your most wanted tune. The best thing of the Alpine iDA-X100 car audio is that it keeps on playing the current tune while you use the Search Mode to find the tunes you want to hear. The handy Back button allows you to go back through the Menus instead of starting from the Top again.
The Alpine iDA-X100 is one flexible car stereo system. It is compatible with all of Alpine’s peripheral gear, including satellite radio, auxiliary input adapter, add-on USB input, CD changer, or HD Radio™ tuner. To make things easier while traveling add Alpine’s optional KCE-300BT Bluetooth® interface and mute the music to either take or make a call by just a touch of a button. It has a built-in amplifier (18 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels) and you can also control the subwoofer’s output level from the Alpine stereo.
The Alpine iDA-X100 car audio system has a 2-band parametric equalizer. And if you want a perfect musical experience on the go combine the media receiver with Alpine’s PXA-H100 IMPRINT audio processor and KTX-H100 tuning kit. The good news is that the old iPod owners can also use it with Alpine’s optional KCE-422i cable to set up a “Full Speed” connection with the Alpine iDA-X100 head unit. Some people like me love great music while driving.
